There’s only two ways to gain recognition in the eyes of the world in the year 2035. One - lick enough boots to sit atop a capitalist corpo. Two - win the EGO Challengers International, an annual worldwide fighting game tournament worth 10 million dollars, on the same level of prestige as the Olympics. For most, the latter is the only option that doesn’t end with dirt on their lips.
